3rd Annual Beat*Shot Spins for J Dilla was a Straight Hit!!!

Albany, NY - Last Friday Febrauary 4th Beat*Shot presented the 3rd Annual Beat*Shot Spins for J Dilla, A Whole Case-A-Dilla. DJ Truemaster & Lo-Fi Lobo hosted the event at The Red Square in Albany.

The late, great hip-hop producer J Dilla was honored with outstanding performances all evening long. The DJ roster included local crate digging legends DJ Nate Da Great, DJ Playground, Dee Jay Ofi, and of course DJ Truemaster.

The live line up was equally impressive. J-Live ripped the stage up with a live band, The Chronicles, and DJ Truemaster. Anniece Cousin also made a cameo appearance.

Proceeds from the event went to the J Dilla Foundation, which provides funding for inner-city music programs and scholarships in J Dilla’s name.
